In Brazil, both markets have reached levels above the annual growth of the economy and represent approximately 8% of the GDP. Both segments are young in the global scale and lead a revolution without precedents in the way to do business, live and work.
The IT and Telecom professionals gain more and more strategic positioning, which is essential for the business success of the companies in this industry. In addition, in all the other fields of activity the technology area started to have an active voice in the large business decisions.
In this context, Assert was created in 2006, with the purpose of being a boutique specialized in recruiting high- and mid- management executives with a focus in technology, telecommunications and services. Assert is highly focused in a market need and strictly follows the practices recommended by AESC. Therefore like the segment it serves, Assert has the youth in its essence, allied to the practical experience in the market and executive recruitment consulting experience for top-management companies.
Ana Luiza Loureiro Segall, the Assert founding partner, has 14 years of market experience. She was an IT and Telecom executive and looks on her ten-year curriculum as a consultant specialized in executive search for both sectors. Manuela Holum Calumby, who joined Assert as partner in the beginning of 2011, in addition to the experience in executive search, she also accumulates the practice in strategic planning in Human Resources, what grants her the unique ability to comprehend the particularities of the profiles most demanded by these sectors.
